Tropical Green Smoothie

This vegan tropical green smoothie is super refreshing and naturally sweet. And don’t worry, you can’t taste the spinach! If you want to substitute in a different fruit to mango, I would stick to tropical pale coloured fruits such as kiwi, passionfruit or papaya to keep that bright green smoothie colour. If you use berries, it’ll taste delicious but won’t be a green smoothie anymore. If you don’t have any frozen spinach you can use fresh spinach, kale, lettuce or any other leafy greens. For non-frozen greens just add in a couple of ice cubes to make it nice and cold.
I’d strongly recommend keeping a batch frozen spinach or other greens in the freezer. It is so handy to have them to hand to add into your smoothies.
If you don’t have frozen tropical fruit buy them fresh and freeze them ahead of time to get the perfect creamy, cold smoothie texture.
WHAT BLENDER SHOULD I USE?
For a blender that’s great value for money you can’t go wrong with a Nutribullet. I have the 900W one and it is such a good option. I’ve had mine for years and it’s really stood the test of time blending everything for all of my meals and recipe videos all these years!
I have a Vitamix that I couldn’t live without. It’s definitely a more expensive option – but they are professional grade and can blitz almost anything. Totally worth it if you have the budget and are a foodie.
