Welcome to my home. A hub for everything I love. I launched this website in 2018, and have recently relaunched a brand new look in 2024. You’ll discover: hundreds of vegan and plant-based recipes; home renovations and room tours from my Georgian farmhouse in Cornwall; my best tips on living an eco and conscious lifestyle, in fashion, beauty and life. All the things I love and enjoy, all in one place. With my content, I hope you will learn to cook more wholesome plant-based recipes from scratch, and to live a slower and more conscious life.

I began sharing my life and passions online in 2016, after quitting my job and moving back home with my parents. After years of being too scared, I finally decided to start posting on the internet after watching YouTube since I was a teenager.

The internet introduced me to topics such as veganism, plant-based diets, the animal agriculture industry, sustainability, climate change, fast fashion, minimalism and zero waste. I became fascinated by the idea that you could change the way you live your life, and have a positive impact on the world. It was these passions that I decided to share in the content I was creating. As time went on, YouTube became an online diary for my thoughts and experiences in life.

From filming my first plant-based recipe videos in our small kitchen in Brighton, my husband Alex and I, returned to Cornwall, sharing our life, renovations and DIYs in our new home.

I am grateful to my audience from all over the world. I aim to help you to create delicious vegan meals, overcome disordered eating habits, and open up about your mental health. To give that home DIY a go, start making eco switches, or simply escape from your busy lives with me in the Cornish countryside.

Thank you for joining me here in my internet home, where you are always welcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did you go vegan?

10 years ago, in my last year of university, I came across some videos online all about veganism. I unfortunately at the time was dealing with an eating disorder, and saw going vegan as another diet fad. However, I went down a hole on the internet watching documentary after documentary, and learning more and more about the animal agriculture industry and it’s impacts on our health, animals and the planet. I made the decision immediately to go vegan and not turn back. Since then I’ve learnt so much when it comes to this lifestyle. It inspired me to recover from my eating disorder and develop a healthy relationship with food. I learnt that animal agriculture is a leading contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, biodiversity loss and water pollution. I learnt of the immense mistreatment and overfarming of animals, alongside the human impact of those working in slaughterhouses or in countries first affected by deforestation for animal feed. I also became extremely interested and passionate about the positive impact of eating more plants for our health. All of this combined has made me a passionate vegan for over a decade, wanting to spread awareness to my audience, and encourage anyone and everyone to try and incorporate more vegan food into their lives.

What are your go-to plant-based meals

I eat my 10 minute mac and cheese from my cookbook, Make It Vegan, every single week without fail. I love to have it alongside some roasted garlic tenderstem broccoli. We always enjoy a dahl, easy stir fry, or sticky tofu as they’re so easy to make and always delicius (Asian food is always my favourite).

Where is your favourite place to eat in Cornwall?

I have a full blog post breaking down the best vegan, veggie and veggie-friendly spots in Cornwall here.

What camera and equipment do you use, and what do you use to edit?

For recipe videos I use a Canon R6 with a 24-105mm lens and Rode Wireless Go Mic

For home vlogs I use a Canon M50 with a Rode Video MicPro+

For out and about I love my Canon G7X for it’s beautiful quality (takes amazing pictures too), or my Canon Powershot V10 as it’s so dinky and captures really great wide angle shots.

For editing my videos I use Premier Pro, and on my phone I use CapCut.

How do you take your photographs?

All my photos are taken by the very talented Ali at Alexander House Studios. We have worked together for years now and I just love how she captures my recipes (and sometimes my face)
