This plant based tabbouleh salad is perfect for the warm summer months to serve in a big serving bowl and share with loved ones.
What you need to make tabbouleh salad
- bulgar wheat
- tomatoes
- spring onions
- cucumber
- mint
- parsley
- lemon
Serve with
- Hummus
- Falafel
How to make tabbouleh salad
Put the bulgar wheat on to cook, according to the packet instructions, then leave to cool.
Meanwhile, thinly slice the cucumber, tomatoes, and spring onions, and chop the herbs.

Add all the ingredients to a big bowl and stir in together.
Dig in with a big spoon, and enjoy with some hummus and falafels!

- 2 lemons (juice of, and zest of 1 lemon )
- salt and pepper
