3 Ingredient Raw Vegan Brownies
You only need three ingredients for these rich and creamy sugar free, gluten free, raw, and vegan chocolate brownies.
What you need
- Almonds
- Medjool/halawi dates (I got some halawi dates in Tesco and they were so much cheaper but very sweet and soft like medjools)
- Cacao powder
How to make 3 ingredient raw vegan brownies
Blend the almonds in a food processor until they are fine. This takes time (and is very loud!), so be patient until they are finely ground.
Add the dates and cacao powder to the food processor, and blend together until completely combined.
Line a baking tray and pour in the mixture. Press down with your hands and the back of a spoon until packed in and smooth.
Sprinkle the top with some chopped almonds (or any other nuts you have to hand) and refrigerate to set until completely cooled.
Remove from the fridge and cut into 8 slices.
If your supermarket has almond flour, this can be substituted for the almonds in this recipe.
Try adding in some orange zest for a chocolate orange kick.
