Easy Vegan 3 Course Meals for Valentine’s Day (+ printable menus)
Valentine’s Day for me, is all about reminding yourself to show your loved ones that you care. Life can be busy, and it’s easy to forgot the little things or take for granted the people in your life that you cherish.
I’ve always been someone who prefers staying at home and avoiding the inevitable V Day crowds anyway. So I’m proposing that you join me in staying in and cooking yourself or your loved one a slap up vegan 3 course meal for Valentine’s.
I’ve got 15 easy vegan recipes for you to choose from and I’ve included multiple options depending on what you fancy (Italian, Mexican, American, Asian-fusion and British). If you want to be a little extra I’ve even created a printable menu for each cuisine choice.
Vegan Italian Menu
I know when you think of Italian food you think of meat and cheese filled dishes but there are actually so many amazing plant based options. You might be surprised to find out that many of the traditional recipes that hail from Italy are naturally vegetarian or even vegan.
This menu takes my easy Avocado and Asparagus Bruschetta as the perfect starter, followed by this amazingly meaty Tofu Rigatoni. Finally for dessert I’ve chosen a recipe made with one of my favourite accidentally vegan products, my Italian Olive Oil Cake.
Serve with: A bottle of Gavi or Prosecco. For the non drinkers use up any old or dried up citrus fruit to make the traditional Italian fruit soda, Chinotto.
To finish: Freshly brewed coffee & vegan biscotti.
Starter: Crushed Avocado and Roasted Asparagus Bruschetta
Main: Tofu Rigatoni
Dessert: Italian Olive Oil Cake

Vegan Mexican Menu
I LOVE Mexican food so I was really happy to create this menu. For starters we have a delicious Mexican-inspired Corn Salad. For the main event we’ve got Mexican Inspired Lasagne, a relatively new recipe of mine, but perfect for those who like tearing and sharing.
Lastly we’ve got this amazing Nutella Cheesecake. Honestly it’s incredible!
Serve with: Homemade Strawberry lemonade or for those wanting something stronger, Margaritas obviously! Citrus drinks are perfect to compliment the spices found in most Mexican recipes.
To finish: For real chocolate fiends, a chill chocolate hot choc. Use my 3 Ingredient Hot Chocolate recipe and sprinkle some chilli powder on top.
Starter: Mexican Inspired Corn Salad

Main: Mexican Lasagne

Dessert: Nutella Cheesecake

Vegan British Menu
Now this is a cosy option for those wanted to get the romance going with some classics made for winter dining. Start with my comforting Tomato Soup and serve with a slice of crusty bread to mop up the soup. I’d recommend my crusty bloomer pictured below in my Basics of Bread Digital Cookbook or you can use my Loaded Bread Rolls. For the main course we’ve got my take on a very British vegan Cottage Pie and for pudding one of my winter favourites, Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Serve with: An English sparkling white for ultimate romance. My favourite local wines are obviously going to be from Cornwall (Polgoon or Camel Valley are delicious). For alcohol free, keep it simple and pair with a sparkling water (I’d recommend Sodastream for those wanting to make tasty soft drinks without the plastic consumption).
To finish: A cuppa tea and a biscuit. Try my version of the British classic Jaffa Cakes.
Starter: Tomato Soup
Main: Cottage Pie
Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding

Vegan American inspired Menu
For those that would normally pick an American style diner for your Valentine’s vegan 3 course meal out then this menu is for you. Start with Tofu Chicken Nuggets. Then my Spicy Bean Burger with my amazing Loaded Sweet Potato Fries. Followed by a classic, Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Serve with: Milkshakes! Try my Peanut Butter Milkshake recipe. For those who can’t muster the hunger for a vegan milkshake and a burger or want to up the romance level, pair with your favourite wine from the states.
To finish: If you still have room in your tum for more I salute you! End this American feast with a freshly brewed coffee.
Starter: Tofu Chicken Nuggets
Main: Vegan Spicy Black Bean Burger
Dessert: Ulitmate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Asian Inspired Menu
Enjoy flavours of asia with a tasty Valentine’s menu inspired by this foodie region. Start with my Thai Noodle Salad. For the main event, I’ve chosen one of my most popular recipes, Tofu Satay Curry.
Serve with: Try my Pilau Rice and Vegan Cucumber Raita. To really enjoy the flavours pair with fresh icy lemon water. But if you want to enjoy with wine, I’d recommend one with high acidity such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Gris. Or for the proper experience, drink with a lager.
To finish: End with a cup of jasmine or ginger tea.
Starter: Thai Noodle Salad
Main: Tofu Curry

Dessert: Mango Sorbet
