Easy Energy Balls

I make these easy energy balls every week, and enjoy them pre and post workout, or with a cuppa. I love them because they are so simple to make, they don’t require cooking and they are delicious! I’ve included in this recipe two different flavour options. Gently spiced, oatmeal and raisin energy balls or fruity cacao and goji berry energy balls. Of course you can make both!
What you need
Oatmeal and raisin
- pitted dates
- oats
- raisins
- cinnamon
- vanilla extract
Cacao and goji berry
- pitted dates
- cacao powder
- desiccated coconut
- goji berries
- chia seeds
- vanilla extract
How to make easy energy balls
Add all the ingredients from chosen flavour to a blender and blend until it comes together in a ball.
Remove from blender and roll into 4-6 balls.
Get experimental with these as you can make them whatever flavour you like. Just keep the dates as the base and get creative!
You can also roll the final balls in some of the ingredients like I do in my 3 ingredient date ball recipe.

Just ate them (changed the method a bit due to lack of raisins), it was super delicious! Thank you for this recipe and your blog, I’m waiting for more content!

I was wondering what the difference is between cacao powder and coco powder and if I could substitute them?

I made the chocolate ones but they tasted kind of bitter unfortunately

Love this recipe! I recommend covering your palms in coconut oil prior to rolling; it really helps things stay from sticking.
