Gift wrapping
Try not to stress too much over presentation. The receiver of your homemade gift will likely appreciate the thought of the gift alone without fancy wrapping. Homemade gifts also tend to look great without any added extras. Wrapped in a clean tea towel or piled on a plate look pretty amazing as it is! But if you do want to go the extra mile then try some of these tips.
Look for what you already have: Check the back of your tupperware cupboard, pantry or recycling box. I’m talking old jam jars, plain gift boxes or even tin cans with label removed.
Parchment paper: If you can’t find any old jars try some neatly folded parchment paper tied with a bow.
Fabric remnants: Use old fabric remnants to create your own reusable wrapping. If the gift needs something between use some parchment paper and finish tied with twine or ribbon
Ribbons & twine: Adding some ribbon to your gift instantly adds something a bit extra so go to town with your favourite bows!
Tag: Add a small card to your gift with a short description of what you’ve made. You can even add an ingredients list for an extra touch (and helpful for those with any food intolerances).
